Sadly I have received a number of messages over the last few days based on a false and misleading description of a vote which took place in parliament last week. For clarity: 1. No MP voted that animals do not feel pain and express emotion or to remove legislation on cruelty.

On Wednesday the Chancellor of the Exchequer presented his Budget to MPs and as always there is a lot of detail to go through.

Earlier today I met with Nerys Watts, the Head of Heritage Lottery Fund in the South West at Westminster to discuss several potential local projects. These included Paignton Parish Church, Paignton Picture House, Torquay Museum and Oldway Mansion.
