We, the undersigned, object to the proposals to close the ticket office at Paignton Railway Station.
Paignton still has one of the highest percentages in the GWR region of passengers still using the ticket office to purchase their tickets, with 41.3% of tickets (75,595) for departure from Paignton sold at the Ticket Office.
The closure would especially impact those with disabilities and the digitally excluded, with the continuing demand from customers for the ticket office showing the numbers this would affect in Paignton.
