Following a session out on patrol with the policing team in Paignton on Tuesday, a few residents asked if Kevin would be doing the same in Factory Row and Castle Circus.
The answer was yes, as today Kevin joined Acting Chief Inspector Steve Philp and Neighbourhood Team Leader Kev Davies for a patrol in key areas including the seafront, town centre, Castle Circus and Factory Row.
There were lots of subjects discussed over the course of the morning, including anti-social behaviour, drugs, environmental, and social issues and how we can work together to better tackle them.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to stop and speak with us whilst we were out and about.
Part of the session included the changes which will be brought about by the £1.1m Safer Streets initiative, which the Government has provided funding to support, plus some of the changes needed to design out crime in the Town Centre. They also discussed plans for a new base for the Neighbourhood Policing team in Castle Circus, putting more police resources in the heart of our Town Centre.
