Local MP Kevin Foster raised the future of Paignton Hospital in the Chamber of the House of Commons today. He asked the Minister of State for Health, Philip Dunne MP, to consider the provision of services in Paignton regardless of the site and building that is eventually decided upon.
Kevin has been clear that local health services in Paignton must remain precisely that - local.
The Health Minister has agreed to meet with Kevin in the future as matters progress, and Kevin will directly and forcefully relay his constituents' concerns over this matter to the very top at the Department of Health.
